Annie (Ye) Jin graduated from the University of Sydney with a Juris Doctor, building on her earlier Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, where she majored in Management and Commercial Law. Admitted to legal practice in July 2024, Annie is fluent in both English and Mandarin, enabling her to advise a diverse range of clients.

During her studies, Annie worked on a law reform project under the guidance of Dr. Rachel Killean at the University of Sydney Law School. Through the Just Cause programme—a social justice collaboration between staff and students—she demonstrated exceptional time management and leadership skills, consistently meeting project milestones and fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment. Her commitment to social justice and community engagement remains a cornerstone of her practice.

Before joining her current role, Annie served as a Paralegal at two boutique firms in Sydney, gaining valuable experience in commercial law, property law, and intellectual property. She drafted letters of demand, contractual documents, and deeds of sale and purchase, while also reviewing loan agreements, building contracts, and company structures. Annie further broadened her legal perspective at Allbright Law Offices in China, where she honed her research and analytical abilities.

In addition to her practical experience, Annie spent five years as a Company Law Tutor in New Zealand, teaching over a hundred students and guiding them through complex legal concepts. This background in education underscores her strong communication skills and her genuine interest in helping clients understand their legal options.

With her global outlook—shaped by living and studying in China, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia—Annie offers strategic and commercially aware solutions. She remains engaged with legal academia through ongoing research and contributions to university initiatives. Beyond her professional pursuits, Annie is an enthusiastic chess player, holding a US Chess Federation Class A ranking, and enjoys exploring Chinese musical traditions at an advanced level.

Annie’s dedication, reliability, and broad skill set make her a trusted advisor in commercial law, committed to delivering clear, effective solutions for clients in Australia and beyond.
