Powers of Attorney

A Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows you to appoint someone to make decisions on your behalf, especially if you no longer have the capacity to do so.

An Enduring Power of Attorney (EPOA) is a document often used as part of a proper estate plan. This document continues even if you have lost the capacity to make decisions for yourself.

An EPOA allows an attorney to exercise a range of decision-making powers on your behalf. This usually includes having the power to deal with property matters (including financial matters), health care, personal care and medical research matters. Given the breadth of powers that can be exercised on your behalf, it is important to select an attorney that you trust.

Boettcher Law understands that this can be a difficult process for people to go through. The experienced and considerate team at Boettcher Law are here to help you navigate this process and ensure your EPOA is effective and up-to-date so that you can have peace of mind.
